We both know that fishing rods are of utmost importance in Fisch, as is the bait, but there are several other essential Roblox items you should immediately put on your to-do list. For example, did you know you can see where certain schools of fish are? Did you know there’s a proper way to swim underwater? Or change the weather? Unless you know how to find these essential items in Roblox Fisch, you’re more or less fishing with one arm.
Basic and Advanced Diving Gear
With the ocean being a dangerous, scary place and spending a minute in the water can kill you, having Diving Gear in Roblox Fisch is essential. This is less about giving you more time to swim in the ocean and more about using it to access the Desolate Deep, where you can find more rare fish for your Bestiary.
Luckily, it’s relatively cheap, at just $3,000, and it only needs to be bought once. You can buy the Basic Diving Gear on Moosewood Island, right in front of the Shipwright there. There’s also a better version, the Advanced Diving Gear, which you can buy for $15,000 at these coordinates: -785, 133, -3102. That places you in the ocean!
Fish Radar and GPS
Speaking of coordinates, having the Fish Radar and GPS are a must. With the GPS, you’ll gain the ability to see your coordinates. It’s pretty useful for sharing your favorite fishing spots with others. The GPS costs a measly $100 on Moosewood, as well as Mushgrove Swamp.
However, the better of the two is the Fish Radar, which actually shows you spawn locations of specific fish. Incredibly helpful when you’re trying to fish for rare fish or if you’re trying to complete one of the Angler’s quests. It costs $8,000 and you’ll find it on most of the main islands, like Moosewood and Sunstone Island.
Unique Fishing Rods
There are three fishing rods you should make a beeline for as soon as possible, in this order:
- Magma Rod
- Magnet Rod
- Reinforced Rod
The reason is that they make life in Roblox Fisch a little easier. The Magma Rod lets you fish in magma pools, like the ones on Sunstone Island; the Magnet Rod is perfect for fishing Quality Bait Crates (Sunstone Island is a good spot); and the Reinforced Rod lets you fish in the Brine Pools in the Desolate Deep.
For the Magma Rod, you’ll have to complete Orc’s quest. He’s on Sunstone Island too, and is looking to eat a Pufferfish. You can also pick up the Magnet Rod on Sunstone Island for $15,000 from the Merchant. And the Reinforced Rod is for sale in the Desolate Deep, which you can’t access without Diving Gear, for $20,000.
Totems
Totems are essential for changing the weather in Roblox Fisch, for the sake of creating the perfect environments for specific fish. Colossal Squid, for example, are a popular option to fish for because they sell really well, but they only appear at night and when it’s foggy.
In total, there are five types of totems in Roblox Fisch, and each one can be found and bought at:
- Sundial Totem: Located on Sunstone Island, inside the cave at the western end of the island.
- Tempest Totem: Head to the coordinates 378 133, 1946, dive into the water, and enter the underwater cave below.
- Windset Totem: Head to Snowcap Island, through the village, and into Snowcap Cave. Climb the ladder located before you get to the pond and parkour to a small ledge above to find the totem.
- Smokesetter Totem: Located on Mushgrove Swamp. Head inwards towards the pond with the mushrooms. The totem is nestled between them.
- Aurora Totem: Enter the Desolate Deep and head right, to the Brine Pools. Just before you enter the Brine Pools, at the mouth of the cave, hug the wall on your left. You’ll find a small gap to scootch through, where the Aurora Totem is.
The Aurora Totem summons the Aurora Borealis, increasing the Luck of everyone on the server. Tempest Totems bring rain; Windset Totems bring wind; Sundial Totems change the time of day (night to morning or vice versa); and the Smokesetter Totem brings fog.
Glider
When you reach the Desolate Deep, that isn’t the end of the journey. You can head further in, to find the Brine Pools. I mentioned the Brine Pools early, which can only be fished using the Reinforced Rod. However, the Brine Pools are inaccessible without the Glider.
Luckily, it’s a cheap purchase and you don’t have to do anything crazy to get it. Just go to Roslit Bay and speak with Ashe, the NPC there, by the Angler. He’s a little further past the docks, in a little camp. They’ll sell the Glider for $900. Oh, and you can use it anywhere, not just to reach the Brine Pools.
