My Happy Marriage was a much-talked-about anime before its premiere in the summer of 2023. This anime received much attention for its Cinderella-like premise set in Japan. Many fans fell in love with the romantic relationship between the main characters, their art, and even the supernatural stuff. This popularity led the anime to announce that My Happy Marriage will get a second season on its official networks. This announcement excited many fans as this show still has a lot of stories to tell, and in true anime fashion, the last episode left us with a huge cliffhanger.
My Happy Marriage’s Second Season Doesn’t Have a Set Date Yet
The first broadcast of the anime was on July 5, 2023, when we saw Miyo’s sad and miserable life with his family. Miyo’s father decided to engage her with a stranger to keep her away, not knowing that Kiyoka would end up falling in love with Miyo. The series recently released its 12th episode and season finale on September 19. The silver lining is that My Happy Marriage announced an upcoming second season right after the finale.
The manga’s illustrator, Tsukiho Tsukioka, created a special illustration to celebrate the announcement. The voice actors Miyo and Kiyoka also made a video announcing the show’s new season. Another good news is that the cast in the first part of the anime will be giving their voices again in the next season, and among those who stand out:
- Miyo Saimori – Reina Ueda
- Kiyoka Kudo – Kaito Ishikawa
- Hazuki Kudo – Yōko Hikasa
- Kaya Saimori – Ayane Sakura
- Koji Tatsuishi – Kotaro Nishiyama
- Kazushi Tatsuishi – Toshinari Fukamachi
- Yoshito Godo – Hiro Shimono
- Yurie – Hōko Kuwashima
- Arata Tsuruki – Ryohei Kimura
- Shinichi Saimori – Hiroshi Yanaka
- Kanoko Saimori – Kana Ueda
- Takaihito – Akira Ishida
