The Mystical Cave is a landmark in Disney Dreamlight Valley that adventurers must explore during the Main Quest, “With Great Power.” To restore the Village from The Forgetting, Merlin the Wizard believes players should unite with Ursula the Sea Witch. However, Ursula is trapped within a grotto blocked by a dark magical barrier that even she cannot dispel. To be freed, she required the Orb of Power, an item stored within the deepest pool of an underground place called the Mystical Cave. Therefore, finding the location of the Mystical Cave is essential for helping Ursula and the progression of the game’s main story.
Where to Find the Mystical Cave in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To find the location of the Mystical Cave in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must investigate Dazzle Beach. This biome is one of the first zones to become available after completing “Friendship Is Everything” and is also the site where this mysterious cave can be found.
Starting from Peaceful Meadow, follow the western trail leading into Dazzle Beach. Next, go south but stay near the rocky outcropping that forms the border with Peaceful Meadow. As players continue down this grassy patch, they will eventually find a corrupted Pillar, which is the device that must be cleansed to unlock fast travel for the beach and free Ursula from her prison. From the Pillar, look directly to the right to find an ancient ruin with a stone door built into the wall of the rock. This entrance marks the location of the Mystical Cave in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
The next step is entering the cave to search for the Orb of Power. To the right of the Mystical Cave’s sealed stone door, players will discover a small pedestal. Interact with this sculpture and place Ursula’s Crystal Key into the item slot of the pedestal to unlock the door. Once inside, players must get past several Magic Gates, barring their path to the Orb of Power. These gates can be unlocked by using the following resources: Garnet, Peridot, Aquamarine, Carrot Seed, Wheat Seed, and Tomato Seed.
