A man in Nevada, who was described online as MAGA, is facing backlash after a video showed him in a heated argument with a Black man in Las Vegas.
It is not clear what led to the argument, but the incident reportedly took place outside a gym. The man can be heard in the video saying, “Shut the [expletive] up,” before calling the other man fat and insulting his mother. When the gymgoer responded that his mother was dead, the man replied, “Good.”
Some individuals at the scene attempted to guide the heated man back into the gym. However, he turned back and asked the other man, “Are you in my country legally?” The other man responded, “I’m Black.” He then added, “I hope you’re famous,” and mentioned that he had a large following online.
The man then used a homophobic slur during the argument, saying, “You suck [expletive] don’t you [homophobic slur].” The gymgoer responded by saying, “You’re gonna go viral for being racist. You’re gonna lose your job.” The man then argued that he did not care about the other man’s race, but the gymgoer pushed back, pointing out that the confrontation escalated after he was asked whether he was in the country illegally upon being seen.
At the end of the video in Las Vegas, another individual stepped in and told the Black man to “walk away.” The man’s behavior sparked widespread backlash on social media, and he was quickly identified by users who shared information online. According to claims circulating in comments and some news reports, he is allegedly a “Registered sex offender, spent 13 years in prison, was a cop.

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers criticized the man involved in the incident in Nevada, expressing frustration over the level of hostility shown in the video. “Everyone in America is so [expletive] miserable and at each other’s throats,” one person wrote. Another commenter made a more extreme statement, saying, “Civil war is coming .. there is no negotiating with these terrorists.”
Others focused on the use of homophobic language during the confrontation, criticizing it as an attempt to insult the other man. “I’ve always found it bewildering in any confrontation when someone calls me gay or whatever, they assume I think being gay would be some kind of bad thing but I don’t so as an insult it doesn’t work on me. And like you said why is it so top of mind? You know it plagues them constantly and I just find it so weird how it comes out in heated moments from whatever combo of self denial, fear and hatred is going in their heads. To them being called gay is the worst thing ever, it’s so sad and pathetic,” one person wrote.
The video left many viewers shocked at the man’s behavior and the way he treated the other individual during the public confrontation, leading to widespread discussion online about conduct, escalation, and accountability in such incidents.
