It’s time to journey back to Yharnam.

Today, From Software released a new patch for Bloodborne, significantly improving level loading times: an aspect of the base game that had been a sore spot for many players. People playing the game have reported decreases in loading from 40 seconds to as little as 15 per death or warp, which certainly adds up for a game that revolves around dying as much as Bloodborne.

Additionally, From Software has added item descriptions during each loading screen, replacing the blank screen with the “Bloodborne” title that had been there prior.

All-in-all, this sounds like an essential patch for Bloodborne players, especially for those who have just recently purchased the game. And if the long loading had deterred PS4 fans up until now, it looks like now is as best a time as any to take the plunge into the world of Yharnam.
