Dust off your GameBoys, players, and get ready to experience a new game for the classic handheld system. Entitled Lost Terminal, retro players will be able to engage in a fresh title for the discontinued GameBoy. If you’re intrigued by Lost Terminal, you can place your pre-order now through the publisher’s website, PixelHeart.
Go with the Retro Through Hell in Lost Terminal
In the pixelated world of Lost Terminal, players will venture through multiple areas of Hell. They will play as the Master of Hell’s son, tasked with helping the Underworld train and its growing issues. Players will run from one level to the next while jumping from platform to platform.
Even though there isn’t much of a synopsis to confidently refer to, PixelHeart did release the official trailer a couple of months back. It’s presented from a physical perspective as opposed to filling the screen with gameplay, possibly to ensure its originality. You get those nostalgic noises and pixels all around with the footage, so be sure to give it a look.
Lost Terminal features 10 unique levels to play through, with a menu to choose the music from the game. If you’re craving that old-school vibe, the game does come with special packaging. Since Lost Terminal is being sold through PixelHeart, 500 lucky buyers will receive numbered copies with a certificate of authenticity from PixelHeart and JoshProd. These distinctive copies come in retro game boxes containing the cartridge, its cardboard wedge, a manual, and the certificate itself.
If Lost Terminal sounds groovy to you, visit the PixelHeart page for the game to submit your pre-orders now. The game is slated for a Q3 2022 release, so we can expect the official release date to be announced in no time. Its creation comes from Maxine Schutz, teaming up with JoshProd and PixelHeart.
