GameMill Entertainment has just released Rocko as a new DLC fighter character for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. To coincide with this release, a YouTube video has been shared as well. This showcase demonstrates how the lead character from Rocko’s Modern Life plays and details each of his moves.
Rocko’s Gameplay in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl
As explained in the showcase video, Rocko is not a particularly strong character. He makes up for this by having access to a lot of projectiles and hard to predict moves. One of these projectiles is his dog, Spunky, who can be sent out to attack the enemy. While out, you can pick up or hit Spunky to change his direction. He can also send out his iconic jackhammer to move randomly around the stage, damaging anyone it touches, including Rocko himself.
He uses many other household items for his attacks, including a vacuum, a broom, a hammer, and more. Other items like a pogo and a rocket help keep his movements unpredictable. The DLC for Rocko also comes with the Hard Core Chores stage. It is a medium-sized level that has a platform that moves up and down on each side.
Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl is a crossover fighting game, which features characters from multiple Nickelodeon properties pitted against each other. Battles can consist of up to four characters, and you can play as characters from different franchises. This includes SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and much more. More characters are planned to be released as DLC like Rocko was, but there are no details on what those characters would be yet.
