After thirteen long years of waiting, Torn Banner is here to bring us No More Room in Hell 2 and a new way to look at zombie games. No More Room in Hell 2 will bring us massive maps with options for large co-op parties, and a whole lot of blood. Sure, we’ve seen zombie games. We’ve seen loads of zombie games, and sometimes they can get pretty old. This one, however, might just give you a reason to jump back into them and give zombie games another shot.
No More Room in Hell 2 takes us through massive maps in creepy, dark, zombie-infested areas where we’ll face intensity like no other and permadeath as a co-op team. You enter the area as an emergency responder, but what you find when you get there isn’t quite what you were expecting. You’ll need to survive, protect yourself and your teammates, stockpile goods and resources, and defeat every zombie in your way.
Torn Banner’s interesting approach to zombie games raises the stakes quite a bit. With an 8-player co-op, we’ll need to use our minds and construct the perfect strategy to safely make it out of the zombie zones without facing permadeath. Your choices will have consequences, so thinking before you act will be a necessity. The zombies are smart, and observant with heightened sense, and will be able to hear every little move you make.
Typically, from what I’ve gathered in my years of playing way too many zombie games, is that the best course of action is typically to have as much firepower as possible. This time around, I think adding the need for strategy and cunning will make for an amazing game.
