LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne was met with both praise and criticism as she flaunted her fit figure in a cowgirl-inspired photo on Instagram in November 2022. The 21-year-old gymnast and rising celebrity kicked up a leg while modeling a tight minidress and cowboy boots as she posed from a balcony, quickly sparking allegations that she’d edited her snap.
Much like the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Olivia is no stranger to Photoshop accusations. While the star faces them on a regular basis, she tends to keep quiet when it comes to responding. In this instance, the Vuori Clothing partner does not appear to have responded to the comments. Nonetheless, she earned herself over 600,000 fan likes.
Olivia Dunne Shows Off Cowgirl Energy On Instagram
All smiles in the sunshine, Olivia highlighted her athlete figure in a skintight, bodycon minidress in black. Going ribbed and strappy, the New Jersey native drew the eye to her toned legs and back, showing off her funky sense of style via her gold metallic footwear and using her boots to give a giant nod to the South.
Tagging herself at LSU as she rocked a small shoulder purse, Dunne sported her light locks down, keeping her makeup fairly minimal as she showed off a summer glow in winter.
Fans Aren’t Feeling It
In a caption, Livvy wrote: “November is for contenders.”
Quickly gaining likes was a fan writing: “Girl these were so horribly photoshopped.” Agreeing that the image might have been subject to a little editing, another replied: “Right like the building bending at her waist. I feel bad that she even feels the need to photoshop she’s so pretty as is.” The original poster, meanwhile, responded with: “The way the strap of the bag is bending. I used to edit my crap, I can point it out.”
Separately, another fan mentioned “Photoshop” as they raised an eyebrow, with a further fan shaming Dunne for showing so much skin on social media.
“You flaunt your body too much and you aren’t even a top-ranked gymnast. Famous for acting like a tart,” they hurtfully wrote. Olivia continues to celebrate her femininity on Instagram and TikTok, where her combined following makes her the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media.
Fortunately, plenty of fans left Olivia love. “This is the one! You at your prettiest!” one fan replied. Even suggesting that Dunne should quit her gymnast career, another said: “You really should be a professional model after you graduate from college.”
