If you thought Acid was the only bottleneck in Once Human‘s endgame, you’ll be sorely mistaken. Stardust Source is your primary gateway to maxing out your weapons to +10 and you’re going to need thousands of them for each and every Tier V weapon. It’s easy to run out of Stardust Source in Once Human, so allow me to point out some lucrative farming methods.

The method I recommend for the fastest Stardust Source farm is none other than Securement Silo runs. You can run them either in Normal or Hard mode for better safety and time, but Pro mode gives more for the Controllers you spend.

I recommend Securement Silo Alpha since it also comes with a Seepage Zone (meaning it has two dungeon bosses). Each dungeon boss defeated will yield you around 100 Stardust Source in Hard mode, so that’s around 200 Stardust Source per run. You can finish each run in under five minutes and keep repeating it as long as you have Controllers.

As an added bonus, you can also farm helmet mods in Securement Silo Alpha. Just remember to use your Controllers for maximum gains. This is also a good way to farm Acid and Gunpowder.

You can also try out the other Securement Silos to see which ones feel safer or faster for you to finish. However, I recommend the other two Securement Silos as well:

  • Securement Silo EX1
  • Securement Silo Sigma

It’s understandable if you can’t farm Securement Silos reliably and want easier sources. Worry not as there are safer methods which even low-level or poorly-gear players can partake in. Try them out, but remember, they have their own pros and cons.

Mystical Crate Farming

Remember those pesky crates that you need to chase using the purple orbs? Turns out they give Stardust Source, and some of them even give 120 Stardust Source in the Red Sands region (Level 40+). Of course, those in lower-level areas will yield less, but they’re still a comfortable way to farm Stardust Source.

All you need to know are the locations of each and every Mystical Crate on the map. I recommend this website. You can set the filters to show only the Mystical Crate locations.

Finishing Workshops

Remember all those Rosetta Access Cards, Refinery Permits, and Extraction Permits you obtain from killing open-world Elite enemies? You can use them in Workshops all over the map.

These are defense-type missions that run for around 5 minutes where you have to defend the workshop against hostile Deviations. Once done, you get rewarded with Cortexes and Stardust Source. You can also team up with random players for this. If you run out of permits or access cards, you can keep farming them from open-world elite enemies.
