A biker in Oregon knows he’s not making any friends among MAGA with his anti-Trump decals. But he never expected a Karen would be so offended by his getup that she’d actually call the police on him! As he says in the caption of his video, “She wasn’t a fan of free speech, I guess!”
Posted by TikTok user Jerry.pie80 (Jerry) shows an irate woman walking up to Jerry at a parking lot in Lake Oswego. His motorcycle helmet has a ‘No More Trump’ decal and he often fashions his bike with an anti-MAGA flag.
The Karen walks over with a phone pressed to her ear and tells her, “You’re on private property” even though you can clearly see multiple businesses in the background. As she continues to state he’s on private property, he revs up his motorcycle to drown out her talking.
She continues on anyway, telling Jerry she’s going to “call 911,” but he asserts, “You’re in my way!” When asked why Jerry was there, he tries to tell her he was coming through after getting off work. Rather than leave it at that, the Karen tells him once against he’s on private property and accuses Jerry of “harassing” her. He tells her he’s just “trying to go about his day” and wonders why she’s so upset about his anti-Trump stickers.
All while this is happening, another woman walks up to Jerry but surprisingly shakes his hand and does a little dance to show support. Afterwards, Jerry pulls off in his motorcycle and parks alongside the road so he’s out of their parking lot. The woman still continues to harass him, saying she doesn’t like him parking there. The reason she gives him is because “she likes Trump.” When he asks her why, she angrily proclaims, “None of your business!”
Eventually, Jerry tells her, “I just can’t believe you’re bothered over some words.” He gets back on his motorcycle and asserts he’s on public property. He tells her, “Now that you’ve talked to me, I’m going to park here every day. There’s zero you can do about it. It’s freedom of speech.” When she tells him he looks stupid, he says, “Who cares? It’s my right to look stupid.”
TikTok viewers ridicule the MAGA supporter for being sensitive
Not only were most of the comments on Jerry’s TikTok video in support of him, they ridiculed the Trump supporter for her poor attempt at scaring Jerry away.
Several commenters pointed out her inaccurate knowledge of what’s private property and what isn’t. “How is a shopping center private property?” one viewer asked. Someone in the thread pointed out she’d have no right to “make him leave the parking lot” but was within right if Jerry had been at her business, which he wasn’t.
Another TikTok user suggested Jerry “call ICE on her because she sounds like a foreigner. That’s what Trump’s administration encourages citizens to do, right?” In the thread that followed, people disagree, argued that would just him “just as bad as them.”
A Trump supporter even chimed in, agreeing with Jerry. “I agreed with your freedom of speech and expression. We can agree and disagree with respect.” Jerry gave it a Like on TikTok.
Whether the Trump supporter liked it or not, Jerry was within his right to display anti-MAGA decals and flags. Calling the cops is just a waste of tax payers’ money.
