I always thought that you are supposed to get smarter as you grow older, but some people keep surprising me. Instead of behaving like an adult, you might find a lot of people who aren’t acting like one. A crazy local in Chicago found out the consequences of his recklessness pretty quickly. Someone filmed him recently as he was, for some reason, clinging to the window of a truck. He was arguing was the driver, but you can’t exactly hear what he was saying. Whatever it is, nothing is worse than endangering yourself this way. The guy could have simply walked away instead of arguing, but he decided to be stupid. His hanging onto the driver’s door was enough to make them start driving away.
Since the driver was moving slowly at first, the Chicago local still had a chance to safely jump. What he chose to do, though, was to try to slam the window with his elbow. You hear the sound of a crack, but you don’t see the window broken. If the guy thought that this was the worst thing that could happen to him, then he is definitely wrong. What happens to him is that he is thrown off the truck a few seconds later and gets slammed to the ground. This isn’t the worst part. When he tries to stand up again, he falls quickly. It seemed like he had broken his ankle after the fall. Again, what did he expect? Now he has to ask himself if it was really worth it.
People Reacting to the Outrageous Chicago Local
Many saw that the video was quite funny, which made it get shared both on Reddit and Instagram. The comments on both platforms dragged the Chicago guy. Since he looked like he had injured himself along with losing some of his dignity, one person wrote, “Elbow, back and pride hurt.” Well, this is one way to teach you a lesson. Someone also believed that the guy could have gotten himself killed with the way he was acting. “I know a lot of people get shot in America…I’m sorta surprised more people don’t get shot when you see how people behave,” they said. I have read about people who got killed for less. So he was playing with his life at this point. The gun argument was mentioned again as someone also wrote, “Lol, Americans be acting like health care is free and the 2nd amendment doesn’t exist.”
Other comments were more concerned with the injuries the Chicago guy has probably gotten. “That’s one way to turn an ankle, boys,” one person joked. Someone wanted him to have even more injuries, as they said, “Only his ankle? That’s a shame..” Another person believed that the guy also broke his hand. “Will go well with his shattered hand,” they added. One Redditor even joked and said, “That’s an expensive investment into the US healthcare system.” Aside from the medical comments, there was one person who believed that both parties were at fault. Their explanation? They don’t like how the truck looks. No matter who is at fault here, one of them is going home with one or two things broken.
