Overwatch 2 is finally here with new items, weapons, heroes, and much more. It is still early to see if the sequel will be as popular as the first game of the series or not, but nonetheless, it is for sure that players will give it a try at least for a season or two. Overwatch 2 Seasons Start and End Dates
Overwatch 2 became available as Early Access on October 4 and the final version was released not a while ago. Blizzard quickly mentioned that game will receive its seasonal updates every nine weeks. Like every other game, as the new seasons begin, players will get access to new items, challenges, and of course Battle Passes.
But knowing when a season ends and another start is crucial for professional and serious players. They need to know how much they have to play per day or week in order to keep the rank and level they have and also progress along the way.
At the time of writing this guide, Blizzard has only announced the end date of Overwatch 2 Season 1 and the start of Season 2. The first season started on October 4, 2022, and will last until December 6, 2022, to complete its nine weeks.
Overwatch 2 Season 2 will start either on December 6 or 7 depending on your timezone and also whether Blizzard will actually make the new season available at the time. It is said that Season 2 update will add a new Tank Hero, a new map, 30+ new Skins, and other stuff.
Although Blizzard has said each season of Overwatch 2 will last 9 weeks until they announce the exact date of the beginning and end of a season we can’t be sure when a season will end and the next start.
