But differences in regional and taste preferences make the search a little problematic, and Scarlet Koi is no exception. A prominent species of the Koi fish, the Scarlet Koi is orange-brown and makes an excellent pet and source of income. This fish lives exclusively in lakes but is quite picky in food, which makes the search somewhat problematic. Where To Find Scarlet Koi in Palia
As we said, Scarlet Koi is found in both game regions of the Palia world and lives exclusively in ponds. This place is perfect for the life of this fish since there are no large predators here, and the average size of this fish guarantees its safety. Due to this, you can catch Scarlet Koi at any time, as it does not need to hide in the depths when day or night comes.
Visiting any lake, you have a relatively high chance of catching this fish, but we recommend focusing your search on the Kilima Valley. The large lake in the Mirror Pond Ruins area or the small pond west of Daiya Family Farm are excellent locations with an abundance of different fish.
If you travel more through Bahari Bay, visit the small northern lake in the Thorny Thicket area. Next, move south and visit small lakes along the way. It’s worth noting that no body of water guarantees an increased chance of getting Scarlet Koi. So only choose a place with the best views.
How To Catch Scarlet Koi
Now that you know where to fish, you should learn about the tastes of Scarlet Koi. When casting your fishing rod, you must select the Glow Worm option. It essentially means that you will not be able to catch Scarlet Koi until you reach fishing level 7. At this level, you can create a Glow Worm Farm and grow bait. Alternatively, a little later, you can buy Glow Worm from the General Store for 25 Gold.
How To Use Scarlet Koi in Palia
Since Scarlet Koi is a Common fish in the Palia world, it is not particularly valuable but can be used in the following ways:
- Firstly, you can sell this fish for 85 Gold or 127 Gold if you catch the Quality version.
- Secondly, you can give Scarlet Koi as a quest item or gift to NPCs such as Zeki, Tau, Reth, Najuma, Jel, Hassian, Elouisa, and Einar.
- Besides, Scarlet Koi is a good cooking ingredient.
- Lastly, you can place this Koi in your aquarium as a pet.
