Batman: Arkham Knight still does not get along with many people’s PCs. And even though Warner Bros. is offering full rebates through the end of the year, regardless of time played, they apparently have not yet thrown in the towel on trying to fix the game as best they can.

A new patch hit Steam yesterday that continues to iron out some of the problems that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight has encountered. Some of the highlights of the update include:

  • Fixed a few gameplay bugs, such as certain characters being unable to counter enemies and bugs that can block progression in the game.
  • Fixed graphical bugs, such as rain effects on certain skins and some light and shadow bugs.
  • Fixed a few technical glitches, such as broken save states, framerate hitches, and the game continuing to run in the background after closing.
  • Fixed bugs to make multi-monitor setups easier to manage.
Rain effects have been partially repaired in the newest patch. Helpful, since it rains for the entire game.

You can view the full patch notes here. It is nice to know that there are still people trying to fix Batman: Arkham Knight, but at this point, the PC version may be a lost cause. It is unfortunate, as the underlying game is a pretty good one. Certain promised features, such as multi-GPU support, have already been dropped from development over the fear that it would cause even more issues with the game. If you have yet to check out Batman: Arkham Knight, your best bet would be to play it on PS4 or XBox One, where it is much more stable. You can check out our review of the XBox One versions here. For those that already have the PC version, the full refund offer is available through the end of 2015.

Is Batman: Arkham Knight playable on your machine? Or have you given it up for your money back (just in time for the Steam Autumn and Winter sales)? Let us know!
