A Pennsylvania woman is criticizing College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving after alleging that two movers behaved disrespectfully toward her and her 79-year-old mother during a move from storage to an apartment. She said one mover refused to handle a box containing her mother’s unopened menstrual pads, while another allegedly insulted her and threatened to take her mother’s belongings elsewhere.
The woman shared her account in a TikTok posted to her account Femaleapartmentsfrom90smovies, using the username franizooey. The videos drew a large number of comments, with viewers discussing the alleged treatment of the woman and her mother, menstrual products and their own experiences with the moving company.
The woman said one mover reacted with disgust when he saw the box of unopened pads. She also alleged that another mover called her a derogatory name after she asked him to unload something and threatened to take her mother’s belongings elsewhere. She said another mover filmed and laughed at her mother while she was using a walker. Following the confrontation, she said she called police and later contacted the company.
She said she asked the company for additional help moving furniture and unpacking, while making it clear that she did not want the same workers sent back. According to her account, she was assured they would not be involved again, but she later received a call from a manager she identified as Abe, whom she said had been involved in the original incident. She said she was dissatisfied with the company’s response and accused it of failing to address what she described as misogynistic and victim-blaming behavior.
