Playstation has just officially announced the titles PS Plus members can download for free in the month of June.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes – PS4
This prequel to MGSV was released last year to simultaneous praise and scorn. Some called it an overpriced demo, while others deemed it a revolutionary step in the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Nevertheless, those who wisely held out on purchasing the game have the chance to play it for free. The visuals are gorgeous, the controls are tight, and it’s the first triple-A game that PS4 Plus members have had in a while. How couldn’t you be excited?
Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition – PS4
Next up is Skulls of the Shogun, a turn-based strategy game developed by 17-Bit. The game was originally released in January of 2013, but now next-gen players can relive the undead samurai battler.
Super Exploding Zoo – PS Vita and PS4
With a name like Super Exploding Zoo, how can you not be interested? In this indie title your job is stop a gang of alien invaders from eating the eggs at a zoo. However, in this zoo everything explodes including the animals. Let’s see those aliens try.
Futuridium EP Deluxe – PS Vita and PS4
This retro-shooter promises a bumping electronic score, psychedelic imagery, and plenty of heart-thumping levels. Currently available for free on PC and Mac, Futuridium EP Deluxe offers a completely extended and overhauled experience for users on PS Vita and PS4.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger – PS3
PS3 users this month are treated to the latest entry in this western-themed FPS franchise. Call of Juarez lost some street cred with flop The Cartel, but fans can go back to the series’s roots with Gunslinger, which brings it back to the old west.
Cloudberry Kingdom – PS3
It may sound like something from Adventure Time, but this 2D platformer is anything but. Apparently, the dev team spent two years creating an AI that could build a near-infinite number of levels at any difficulty. Those with a PS3 will be able to try out the randomness in a few short weeks.
How do you feel about June’s line-up? Which will you be downloading and which will you be skipping? Let us know in the comments and be sure to check out the official announcement here.
