In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, Meditite is a non-exclusive Pokémon you can evolve. Meaning, you can capture them no matter which side of the game you play. We’ll give you some tips on how to evolve them as well as where you can find them.

Evolve Meditite in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl

Meditite is a Fighting/Psychic-type Pokémon and among the many you can track down before getting the national dex. All you have to do to ensure they will evolve in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl is to raise their level. Meditite will evolve into Medicham once it reaches Level 37.

You can level up your Pokémon quick through the following means:

  • Lucky Egg
  • Never Skip Battles
  • Grind with Riley
  • Vs. Seeker Key Item
  • Rematches

Have your Meditite hold the Lucky Egg so they will increase the amount of EXP they gain. Also, you want to make sure you’re not skipping battles so you can gain as much as possible. As for Riley, you battle with him at your side once you travel to Iron Island halfway through the game. You can grind with him, and every match you do will be Double matches for larger EXP gains.

Additionally, you can get the Vs. Seeker Key Item that allows you to rematch trainers. This won’t work on trainers that are in caves or buildings, but all other trainers are fair game. Alongside that, you can always rematch the Elite Four and the Champion if you wish. They will have even stronger Pokémon by then, so they’ll be tougher to beat. At the same time, they’ll yield higher EXP payouts.

Locating Meditite in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl

If you haven’t already, you can find Meditite in several locations.

In the wild, you can encounter it in the following areas.

  • Mt. Coronet B1F (uncommon)
  • Mt. Coronet Route 207 Entrance (rare)
  • Mt. Coronet Route 211 Entrance (uncommon)
  • Found on Route 208 (uncommon morning/day | rare night)
  • Route 210 North (common morning/day | uncommon night)
  • Route 211 East (common morning/day | uncommon night)
  • Discovered on Route 211 West (common)
  • Route 216 (uncommon morning/day | rare night)
  • Route 217 (rare morning/day | none at night)

You can head to the Grand Underground to search for them too, and they have a strength requirement:

  • Dazzling Cave
  • Stargleam Cavern
  • Whiteout Cave

If you need a non-exclusive Pokémon to evolve in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, Meditite is a good choice. All you have to focus on is raising its level, and if you catch them earlier in the game, you have plenty of time to do so.
