Roselia is the first evolution of Budew, a rather common Grass-type Pokemon in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Budew itself can be found in the Pokemon Hideaway areas (Spacious Cave, Grassland Cave, Sunlit Caverns, Riverbank Cave, and Still-Water Caverns areas), Route 204, Route 212, Eterna Forest, and Safari Zone/Great Marsh. It will then turn into Roselia once it levels up during the day with a high Friendship stat or having two hearts in the Poketch’s Friendship Checker app. Simply let it hold Soothe Bell, participate in Contests, or capture it using a Luxury Ball to quickly raise its Friendship. However, once evolved into Roselia you need a specific item to turn it into its third and final evolution. Here’s how you can evolve your Roselia in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl: Roselia Evolution
Roselia can only evolve into Roserade once it’s exposed to a Shiny Stone in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Despite its weak HP, Physical Defense, and Speed, Roserade has access to powerful support moves such as Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sleep Powder. It also has a strong Special Attack making it a dangerous opponent for any Water-type Pokemon especially if equipped with Giga Drain and Synthesis. Read on below for more details about Roserade.
