Electrizer is an evolution item you can use to evolve your Electabuzz Pokemon into Electivire. However, it is not easy to obtain, especially if you are playing Shining Pearl. Not only must you locate an Elekid Pokemon, but you will have to rely on luck to get the item. By the end of this guide, you will learn where to find an electrizer in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Where to Find Electrizer in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
To get electrizers, you will need to find wild Elekid. Elekid will rarely spawn in the Grand Underground. There is a five per cent chance that an electrizer will be attached to the Elekid. When you attempt to capture an Elekid, there is a slight chance that you will also obtain an electrizer. You can also use the Thief move to try stealing an electrizer from an Elekid. You can find the Thief ability by travelling to Eterna City and using the Cut ability on the trees east of the Galactic building. There will be a hidden path that will lead you to the TM.
The following areas within the Grand Underground have a chance of spawning Elekid:
- Dazzling Cave
- Whiteout Cave
- Stargleam Cavern
- Glacial Cavern

Once you obtain an Elekid with the electrizer, you can level the Pokemon until it evolves into Electabuzz. With the electrizer attached to your Pokemon, trade your Electabuzz with a friend. Once you trade the Electrabuzz, it will evolve into Electivire, consuming the electrizer in the process. You can then trade with your friend again to get your newly evolved Pokemon.
If you are playing Pokemon Shining Pearl, you will have a much harder time finding electrizers. Elekid will only appear in Brilliant Diamond, so you will need to trade with other players if you are playing Shining Pearl. However, Shining Pearl has the Magmortar Pokemon and the Magmarizer.
