In Pokemon Go, Legendary Pokemon mostly debut in raids to increase the challenge of capturing them in the game. But this time, not only one Legendary Pokemon but three made a surprise debut in Pokemon Go. One of them is the Galarian Zapdos, and here is the guide on how to catch it in Pokemon Go.
How to Catch Galarian Zapdos in Pokemon Go
In Pokemon Go, Legendary Pokemon usually don’t appear in the wild to capture them. This is a rare event that you can actually go around and find Galarian Zapdos in the game. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy. Not only is Galarian Zapdos rare to spawn, but very hard to capture as well.
To find Galarian Zapdos or the other Legendary Pokemon, you must use the Daily Adventure Incense. This is a feature that sees additional Pokemon spawn outside of the current season or event-specific pool of creatures.
As I mentioned, the chances of Galarian Zapdos appearing are very slim. In case you can’t find the Legendary Pokemon within a single Daily Adventure Incense session, you must wait until the following day. Also, remember that each session of Daily Adventure Incense only lasts 15 minutes, so put all your focus on finding and capturing the Pokemon you want.

Reports from the community suggest a base catch rate of 0.3% and a flee rate of 90% for the Galarian Zapdos. This basically means you have to capture this Pokemon in your first or second throw; otherwise, you will lose your chance. You can always use a Razz Berry, curveball, and great or excellent throws to increase your chances of capturing this Pokemon. Good luck on your hunt!
Pokemon Go is available for iOS and Android devices.
