The popularity of Pikachu for Pokemon fans cannot be exaggerated, and creators of Pokemon Go do not deny themselves the pleasure of adding a clone of this Pokemon with each generation of Pokemon. Pachirisu, Emolga, and Dedenne have long been part of this gaming world, so the release of Pawmi, a 9th-generation Pikachu clone, was only a matter of time. And now this day has come because, with the release of the Paldea region, Pawmi became part of one of the best Pokemon games. Everyone wants to know where and how to catch Pawmi and if there is a shiny version of it in Pokemon Go. And here, you will find the answer.

How To Catch Pawmi in Pokemon Go

If you are trying your best to catch Pawmi in Pokemon Go, you should participate in the Ultra Unlock: Paldea event and find this Pokemon in the wild. This event will last from September 10 to 15, 2023, Local Time, so hurry up. You can find him in any region during this limited-time event as Pawmi’s spawn rate increases. In addition, you can catch it anywhere from the field to the city, as the Pawmi is not picky about its habitat.

However, if you want to get the most out of the Ultra Unlock: Paldea event and catch as many Pawmi as possible, you can increase the spawn of these Pokemon. You need to use Incense while walking and the Lure Module if you decide to rest. In addition, Pawmi loves rainy weather, so a walk in such weather guarantees even more encounters with this Pokemon.

Once you have found a strong Pawmi, you can evolve it into Pawmo by spending only 25 Candy. But you must collect 100 Candies and walk with your Pawmo as a Buddy Pokemon for 25 km if you want to get Pawmot, the final form in the Pawmi family tree.

Can Pawmi Be Shiny in Pokemon Go?

Unfortunately, Pawmi and its subsequent evolutionary forms cannot be Shiny in Pokemon Go. Considering that this Pokemon has just arrived in this game world, it is logical. Of course, you can say that Lechonk, another Paldea region Pokemon, received a shiny version along with the release of the base form, but this is an exception to the rule. For most Pokemon, players must wait at least a year from this Pokemon’s debut before Niantic releases its shiny version. This pattern probably applies to Pawmi as well.
