How to Get Shiny Ditto in Pokemon Go
The Shiny Ditto was added to the game as part of the Kanto Tour. It was a huge event and one of the biggest events that happened in the game. After the event finished, the shiny forms of Pokemon remained in the game.
For the players that have got the Kanto Tour pass, they will get Special Research tasks in which, upon completion, players will get a Shiny Ditto. But if you didn’t get the Kanto Tour pass, you can’t get them now. This doesn’t mean you will not have the chance to get Shiny Ditto, but it will be extremely challenging.
Before getting a Shiny Ditto, first, you have to capture a normal Ditto first. Now to get the normal one, you have to capture one of the Pokemon below:
- Paras
- Hoothoot
- Spinrak
- Hoppip
- Remoraid
- Whismur
- Gulpin
- Numel
- Bidoof
- Foongus
After you capture one of them, it has a chance of transforming into a Ditto. But I must remind you once again that getting your hands on the Shiny Ditto is challenging. And again, finding Ditto or its shiny form is entirely up to luck if you don’t have the Kanto Tour pass.
The best thing to do is to keep capturing the Pokemon from the list above and hope to get a Ditto. Maybe there will be another event that will make the capture procedure of Shiny Ditto easier.
