Pokemon Go has placed a spotlight on a lot of Pokemon Legends: Arceus content recently, and the trend continues with an upcoming Raid Day devoted to Hisuian Decidueye. Decidueye, normally a Grass/Ghost type, is the final form of Rowlet, a tiny adorable grass owl. When evolving in the Hisui reigion, however, Rowlet will eventually turn into Hisuin Decidueye, a Grass/Fighting type with some coloration and move differences from its default counterpart. For players interested in getting Hisuian Decidueye in Pokemon Go, Niantic has announced plans for a Raid Day on February 11th.
Hisuian Decidueye Stars in a Pokemon Go Raid Day
The Hisuian variant of Decidueye made it’s debut in Pokemon Legends: Arceus in 2022. After the players crash lands in the ancient region of Hisui, sent by the god Arceus to fix the world – as one does – they’re offered a choice between three starters: Cyndaquill, Oshawott, and Rowlett. The former two have already gotten their time in the spotlight, with Pokemon Go events centered around their evolutions Typhlosion and Samurott, respectively, but now Rowlett’s getting its time to shine with a Raid Day on February 11th.
Normally, Decidueye is a Grass/Ghost type Pokemon, resembling an owl with large wings, a leafy hood, and the ability to fire arrow quills at its enemy. Unlike its Alolan variant, the Hisuian Decidueye has smaller wings, stronger legs, and the ability to deliver powerful kicks at close range. The Hisuian Decidueye also has a red-orange color palette and what the Pokedex describes as “stalwart, fierce personality.”
Even though the Hisuian Decidueye is a nomad, Pokemon Go players will have a higher chance of finding it on February 11th, between 2pm and 5pm local time. Niantic has announced plans to lift the limit on the number of Remote Raids players can partake in, temporarily boosting the limit to 20 raids starting February 10th at 4pm PT and going until February 11th at 7pm PT. Hisuian Decidueye will be appearing in 3-star raids, and players will also have a better chance at finding a Shiny Decidueye during the event, so keep an eye out for its green-and-red feathers.
If you’re a fan of Hisuian Decidueye, don’t forget to check out its Pokemon Go Raid Day on February 11th, 2024.
