While traversing the open world of the newly released Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you are going to be catching a bunch of Pokemon, meaning that you are quickly going to get more than the six Pokemon that you can carry in your party at any given time. Since being prepared and having a good team is half the battle in these games, it is important to know how to change out Pokemon from your party. This guide will explain how to change Pokemon in your party in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
How To Change Pokemon In Your Party In Pokemon Legends: Arceus
There are two ways that you can change your Pokemon Party in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The first one takes place at a Pasture. There is one of these Pastures in Jubilife Village south of the eastern gate. Just across the bridge next to the aforementioned bridge is an NPC that you can talk to, which will allow you to edit your party lineup. While this is a way to change Pokemon in your party while in town, the second way to do so is found in the open world.

Dotted around the open world are these campsites that players can rest at. You will also find another NPC at these camps that will offer you a list of options if you talk to them. These include shopping, resting, and most important to this guide, change your party makeup. When talking to the NPC, select “I want to see my Pokemon” and you will be brought to the same menu that you see when talking to the NPC near the Pastures in Jubilife Village, and you will be able to do the same thing you do there and change the Pokemon in your party.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is available now on Nintendo Switch.
