The final trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC titled The Indigo Disk just arrived and it features, among other things, a confirmation that a number of major Legendary Pokemon will be available to catch. On top of these Pokemon being available in-game for players who don’t already have them, this also means that players who already have them will be able to transfer them in from Pokemon Home.

The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is only a week away and Game Freak is ramping up the hype at the last moment by dropping even more information about what’s coming in a new trailer. This trailer still doesn’t give too much away, especially in terms of story, but there is a good look at some interesting features that were rumored before by some but not fully confirmed until now.

Returning Legendaries in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk Trailer

Get Ready for Your Trip to Blueberry Academy!

The trailer opens by giving fans a better look at certain things that had already been confirmed, like the new location, Blueberry Academy, and the inclusion of every single starter that hadn’t already been made previously available in Gen 9 like Snivy and Litten. Where the trailer becomes interesting, though, is when it begins to show off some previously unconfirmed Legendary Pokemon.

The Legendaries shown off in the trailer include:

  • Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres
  • Suicune, Raikou, and Entei
  • Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza
  • Ho-Oh and Lugia
  • Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem
  • Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion
  • Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma
  • Latios and Latias
  • Glastrier and Spectrier
  • Kubfu

It’s unknown if this is every Legendary being added to the game or if even more are coming. Some Legendaries, like Xerneas and Yveltal, remain unconfirmed and will continue to be unavailable in Gen 9 if they’re not added with this DLC. Regardless, this will make The Indigo Disk far more exciting for many, especially those who still only have one form of Urshifu after the Sword and Shield DLC.
