Pokémon Unite 1.7 Patch Notes
Theia Sky Ruins
The map is getting massively nerfed, so hopefully, this can slow the roll of snowball carries. Also, Regice works now, which is amazing!
Central Area
- Accelgor and Escavalier base EXP decreased from 300 -> 230
- Laz note: this matches the old values for red/blue buff on Remoat Stadium
- Xatu EXP decreased from 300 -> 250
- Laz note: Xatu EXP is static, unlike most wilds
- Altaria Aeos Energy 5 -> 4 (7 -> 6 in final stretch)
- Baltoy changes are unknown still.
Top and Bottom Lane
- Indeedee Aeos Energy 6 -> 5 (8 -> 7 in final stretch)
- Indeedee base EXP decreased from 200 -> 160
- Altaria Aeos Energy 5 -> 4 (7 -> 6 in final stretch)
Objectives
- Regice Buff now heals 5% of your max HP every 3 seconds (Both in and out of combat!)
- Rayquaza base Health decreased from 9200 -> 7720
- Rayquaza Health growth reduced from 1600 every 30s -> 1393 every 30s.
- Regice / Regirock / Registeel /Regieleki EXP growth reduced from 30 every 30s to (20/10/10/10/20/10/10/10/10/20/10/10/10/40/30/40/30/40/20/10)
- Abu note: Now Regieleki neutral and soldier give the same Exp.
Pokémon
Absol
Yes, Absol. He who needed a nerf.
- Pursuit:
- Buff duration 5s -> 3s
Aegislash
Aegislash was a bit too consistent with Shadow Sneak, so a little knock to the knees should give it slightly better counterplay.
- Shadow Sneak
- Damage – 2 Hits:
- Ratio: 122% -> 103%
- Per Level: 11 -> 9
- Base: 200 -> 170
- Damage – 2 Hits:
- Iron Head
- Increased the cooldown reduction from blocking an attack.
Azumarill
Azumarill was pretty garbage in the previous patch. They were too consistent to counter by simply staying with a teammate, and lacked the ability to work strongly in the late game because of it. Lowering levels of acquisition should give them stronger farming potential to reach a critical mass faster, and allow some relevancy lategame.

Blastoise
Blastoise wasn’t abysmal last patch, but it definitely wasn’t amazing. Increasing the effectiveness of a handful of its moves should bump it up a tier.
- Water Gun
- Damage:
- Ratio: 88% -> 97%
- Per Level: 16 -> 17
- Base: 510 -> 560

Buzzwole
Buzzwole, unlike Blastoise, was hot garbage. He really needed a steroid, and this is a twofold stinger across his entire kit… except Superpower, which is weird. He otherwise should be quite improved.

- 155 -> 170
- 166 -> 180
- 178 -> 191

- Superpower
- Now treats Hindrance Resistant targets as Unstoppable.
Charizard
Zard was a pretty decent mon last patch, but Fire Punch wasn’t often taken, Buffing a lesser-used move and hurting his Unite a bit feels like a decent give-and-take.
- Fire Punch
- Cooldown: 6s -> 5s
- Fire Punch+
- CD reduction on hit: .25s -> .3s
- Laz Note: The cooldown comes up every 2 autos assuming no cdr
- CD reduction on hit: .25s -> .3s
- Seismic Slam
- Now grants Hindrance Resistance instead of Unstoppable.
- Can no longer be used on Hindrance Resistant targets.
Cramorant
Another patch, another Cramorant nerf. Dude just can’t gatch a break.
- Air Slash +
- Healing – per Blade (5 blades):
- Ratio: 45% -> 30%
- Per Level: 0 -> 0
- Base: 60 -> 40
Gengar
- Hex
- Range decreased.
Glaceon
Glaceon was one of the strongest mons in the game last patch. Funnily enough, this tiny increase to cooldown is incredibly relevant for Icy Wind, since the CDR build is slightly less effective and requires even more investment.
- Icy Wind
- Cooldown 6s -> 6.5s
Greedent
- Bullet Seed
- Fixed a bug that caused Bullet Seed to not function while slowed.
Mew
- Boosted Attack
- Bonus damage per threshold 9% -> 6.5%
- Agility
- Fixed a bug where the dash would not properly cross some walls.
Mr Mime
- Psychic
- Damage – Per Pulse:
- Ratio: 30.3% -> 21.6%
- Per Level: 3 -> 2
- Base: 72 -> 51

- Per Level: 2 -> 1
- Base: 50 -> 30
-
- Power Swap+
- Now properly works with confusion.
Slowbro
Slowbro saw shockingly little play last patch, even though he was a pretty fine mon on some teams. Don’t be fooled, the damage buffs are nice, but the real crazy change here is the Unite cooldown being reduced. This is going to make a few waves. Pun intended.
- Water Gun
- Damage – Uncharged:
- Ratio: 132% -> 147%
- Per Level: 11 -> 13
- Base: 210 -> 240

- Damage – High Charge:
- Ratio: 264% -> 294%
- Per Level: 23 -> 26
- Base: 420 -> 480
- Damage – Uncharged:
- Surf
- Cooldown: 9s -> 8s
- Telekinesis
- Cooldown: 11s -> 9s
- Slowbeam
- Unite Energy cost: 110000 -> 100000
- AKA
- Cooldown: 123s -> 112s
Sylveon
- Fixed a bug that caused Eevee to deal special damage with its basic attacks.

- Fixed a bug that caused Tsareena and others to be permanently slowed by speed flux zones under certain circumstances.
Queen Ascendant
- Can no longer be used on Hindrance Resistant targets.
Tyranitar

Wigglytuff
Mew and Mime were overshadowing support mons, and with Mime taking a hit, and Wiggs getting a pretty penny of buffs, this should shake things around a bit.
