Developer Bungie recently released the official video for Destiny’s new expansion, The House of Wolves. This is the second piece of downloadable content for the game, following The Dark Below.

The expansion will have brand new story missions, quests, and bounties. Also included with the expansion will be a new social area in the reef, along with more quest givers and other characters. The story revolves around the Queen of the Awoken requesting the Guardians to hunt down the House of Wolves.

The expansion will also feature new cooperative modes. Prison of Elders is a coop mode that will have players face enemies in an arena setting. In addition to that, there will be a new cooperative strike mission called The Shadow Thief. This strike will have players go to the Fallen ketch on the Moon. Here, they will face a rogue Fallen captive.

There will be three new multiplayer maps. Black Shield (which takes place on Firebase Thuria, Phobos), Widow’s Court (in the European Dead Zone, Earth), and Thieves’ Den (on Ishtar Sink, Venus).

House of Wolves will also bring in new armor, gear, and weapons; including equipment based on Fallen and Osiris themes. Furthermore, legendary and exotic armor and weapons can now be brought up to level 34.

To top it all off, The Crucible will get a new competitive event called Trials of Osiris. This event will feature a three-team, elimination-style combat with no respawns.

House of Wolves is set to launch on May 19 for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, priced at $19.99 (unless you have the expansion pass)

Check out the official preview below:

Are you still playing Destiny? What glorious armor and weapons await? Leave us a comment and let us know if you’re excited for the new House of Wolves‘ DLC as much as we are.
