Its been a good while since I’ve covered free weekend Steam games over here. There just hasn’t been that much since the Summer Sale, but there have been a few good free games here and there. I may not have reported on them, but I hope you had the chance to enjoy them regardless. Today though, we return with one game, in particular, being free this weekend. That game is Quantum League and comes from Nimble Giant Entertainment. This game is available to try right now and is available up until Monday at 10 AM PST. Be sure to hop in and let us know what you think. Today the game also received Update 0.7.3 which you can find the trailer for below.

Quantum League is an FPS pitting you against another player (or two in 2v2) but in a different fashion. Each round, players must defeat their opponent while securing the control point in the center. Once each round is finished, a new round begins and your player from the last round begins to play like you. As the second player, you can either focus on the enemy’s new player or their copy repeating their actions. It may just prevent your clone’s death. Can you dominate your opponent in this frantic, tactical shooter? Time will tell.

For those interested once the free weekend is up, Quantum League is currently having a 50% off sale on Steam. With the game being a solid price thanks to that sale, those who enjoy the free weekend won’t want to pass up. If you buy the game, there’s a roadmap showing everything you can expect in the coming months. It was outlined yesterday, and you can find the full details here. In summary, Quantum League is getting several new maps, quality of life features, and new ways to play over the next cycles of release. It’s an Early Access roadmap that leaves a lot coming to the game in the future, and we hope you’re excited.

We’d love to hear your thoughts though. What do you think of Quantum League? Is it truly an innovative shooter like it promises? Tell us your thoughts, and stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
