After you make it to the lake and discover that you need to locate gas, you will have to guide Leon through the Fish Farm in Resident Evil 4. This portion of the chapter is one of the last ones you will progress through before making it to the boss fight at the end of the Chapter. However, it’s quite a bit difficult, and you’ll be taking on countless enemies for the duration of it. Be sure to repair your knife and upgrade your weapons before you head out. Keep reading for a full guide on the Fish Farm in Resident Evil 4.

After you head through the tunnel and come out on the other side, you will find yourself on a platform above a wide open space. However, none of the enemies you need to fight will be out in the open so you will have no choice but to hop down into the shallow water and begin to fight off the Ganado.

Once you hop down, the bull-headed enemy that you first encountered in the Farm area will be back to greet you with his large sledgehammer weapon. Take him down with a few shotgun shots to the head and move on.

At this point, you should begin to make your way through the Fish Farm area, taking down the Ganado in your path and avoiding the many Tripwire Mines littered around the walls. Once you’re done with that, you can go back and focus on the items you need to be collecting in the area.

First, be sure to head into the shallow water once again and duck under an open portion below the platforms to find a chest containing Hexagon Piece B.

Now head in the various buildings in the area. One of the smaller buildings will contain a Small Key within a desk drawer. Now, in the main building, you can find a chicken egg, along with the Boat Fuel that you will need to fuel up the boat in the previous area.

Head back to the Merchant HQ in order to save your game and prepare for the Boss Fight in the next step of the Chapter, but make sure to stop and put Hexagon Piece B in the pedestal on your way.

Once you’ve saved, upgraded your weapons, and repaired your Combat Knife, head back down to the lake and fuel up the boat.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
