For those who have just finished watching the Resident Evil October showcase, you might have noticed a few amazing things. Of all the things we were expecting, we never thought the upcoming remake would look so good and different in a good way. It would seem that there will be some Resident Evil 4 remake features that weren’t available in the original. However, these things aren’t bad at all. As the director said in the showcase, they are trying to maintain the feel of the original while adapting to the newer generations.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Features Include Crafting, a Parrying Mechanic, and More!
While the Resident Evil October showcase was huge and brought amazing news, the Resident Evil 4 segment was the best. In it, we could see the new things that’ll arrive with the remake. The most noteworthy ones were the ability to dodge attacks, crouch, craft, and exchange collectibles for items. This is something that doesn’t break the feeling from the original and adds some more depth to one amazing game. Anyone who sees the trailer will be able to check the new Resident Evil 4 remake’s features that are coming next March.

Beyond that, we got glimpses of some classic enemies but now rebuilt with today’s graphics. Watching Los Gandos, Salazar, El Gigante, and more rebuilt is amazing. Beyond that, during the Resident Evil October showcase, we also saw some changes in the story. Nothing that will break the original one so far. We were able to see a bigger house which might be the same as the first Leon enters in the original. We saw one of the police officers meeting his demise inside the house instead of the river. So, it would seem that beyond the Resident Evil 4 remake features, Capcom is looking for ways to add more to the story. This is something great, but as always, we’ll have to play to believe it. It’s been two great days for horror fans. Silent Hill 2 remake is on the way, and a new Silent Hill is also coming. And for Resident Evil, it will be a busy month and a busier 2023. Everyone can pre-order the remake starting today.
