It’s Not the First Cast Outing That Jenna Lyons Has Been Absent From
When it came to BravoCon in Las Vegas last month, Jenna Lyons was nowhere to be found. Appearing at the CFDA Fashion Awards during that time, she told reporters, “I had some things to do.”
“I said some really important things to do, like twiddle my thumbs,” Lyons joked to Entertainment Tonight. “No, I had an event and I had some other things that I had to do that were personal. And I’m preparing for — I have to leave tonight, I have to be on a flight so I just couldn’t. It didn’t work out.”
In July, Jenna Lyons Admitted That Reality TV Was “A Huge Risk”
Jenna Lyons spoke with W Magazine about her time on the show in July, sharing,
“This was a huge risk for me that I felt like for once in my life, I could probably take.”
“I don’t work in a corporate environment the way I used to, so I don’t have the same sense of responsibility to a company. And considering the fact that I have this business that I would love to be able to support, it felt like an honest way to do that,” she explained.
One Former Housewife Doesn’t Think Jenna Lyons Should Stick Around for Another Season of RHONY
On her podcast Two Ts in A Pod, RHOC’s Tamra Judge suggested that Jenna Lyons is too guarded to be on reality TV.
“She needs to go. I mean, I hate to say that about anybody. I like her as a person. But sometimes reality TV is not for everybody,” Tamra said amid rumors that Lyons may have quietly gotten engaged to girlfriend Cass Bird.
“And just because maybe you are not good at reality TV, doesn’t make you a bad person,” Judge continued. “It actually probably makes you very normal. And maybe a little bit private.”
