Richard Gere’s family vacation to Mexico was to commemorate his wife’s 40th birthday days before the event. Alejandra showed the world they were having fun by detailing their engagements, including a scheduled beach trip with their kids.
But moments after arrival, the American Gigolo actor, who had a cough before the trip, checked into a hospital. After a visit to the doctors, Richard Gere’s pneumonia was the confirmed diagnosis. The “Pretty Woman” star stayed overnight in the medical facility.

Richard Gere’s Pneumonia Will Soon Be A Thing of the Past
Yesterday, Alejandra revealed how fast Richard Gere’s pneumonia is winding up. She used a charming family photo of their family all faced back, walking on a patio.
The couple held onto one of their son’s hands as they allowed the warm rays to tan their skin. Following the family’s snap was Alejandra’s heart of gratitude.
She began her message by thanking well wishes for their compassionate words following Richard Gere’s pneumonia.
The 40-year-old affirmed, “he is recovering, he is feeling much better today!” adding that the worst has already happened.

Before Richard Gere’s family vacation, Alejandra has blessed fans with some of their outings with the boys.
Though the family intends to shield their sons from the media, as they have both refused to share the faces of their sons, they enjoy posting other family adventures.
During Christmas, the family of four stepped out to date in a pond. Expectedly, the shared snap from Alejandra’s Instagram handle showed them gazing into the blue water. The accompanying caption read:

These two have been going strong since 2016. Though they have two sons, they were not new to parenting after welcoming their first child.
Twenty-two years ago, the Golden Globe winner fathered a son, Homer, whom he shares with an ex-wife. On the other hand, Alejandra has a 9-year-old son from a former relationship.
