You’d think that with two sons, a growing beauty empire, and a massive music career, Rihanna would be too busy to watch reality TV. But you’d be wrong. In fact, the “Umbrella” singer is a huge fan of unscripted television — especially The Real Housewives. In the past, she’s spoken about her love for OG cast members like Karen Huger and Kyle Richards. However, in a new interview with E! News, Rihanna said she has a new favorite city to fangirl over, and the answer is RHOSLC.
Rihanna Has Shown Her Love to RHOSLC in the Past
During a quick chat with E!, Rihanna responded to a question about which Real Housewives city she’s “obsessed with.”
“Always Salt Lake City,” the performer said. “They had such a swinging opening season that, like, knocked me off [of] my feet.” RHOSLC’s first season aired in November 2020. The cast featured Heather Gay, Mary Cosby, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks, and Jen Shah. Drama centered around religious misunderstandings, marital struggles, rumors and gossip, and yes, sense of smell. As Rihanna continued to sing Salt Lake City’s praises, she said the show’s stars “knocked [Season 1] out of the park.”
“You just never know what’s coming next with them.”
Also, this isn’t the first time Rihanna has had positive things to say about SLC and its cast. In 2020, she sent a DM to Heather, saying how “obsessed” she was with her.
After the messages went out, Bravo fans replied and seemed to be on the same page as Rih. “She’s my favorite,” one user wrote. “I love her. She doesn’t try so hard to be the queen like Jen. She is the queen.”
