MW3 Season 5 features two new weapons in the game, one of which is an SMG that is just as abnormal as the Season 4 Superi-46. Yes, they’ve nerfed the Superi, and now the spotlight is shining bright on the new Static-HV. The new gun looks like the PDW from Black Ops 2, but it surely does hit differently with very low recoil, high fire rate, and the kicking power you wouldn’t usually expect from an SMG. Here’s the best SMG loadout for Static-HV to use in Warzone and MW3 Season 5.
How To Unlock Static-HV in Warzone and MW3 Season 5
You can unlock the Static-HV in Warzone and MW3 by unlocking Sector 6 of the Season 5 battle pass. Just like every other new weapon that comes to the game, this SMG is also free to unlock without purchasing the battle pass.
Best Static-HV SMG Loadout
- Optic: JAK Glassless
- Barrel: Garrote-8 Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Rear Grip: Warcat 90 Grip
What you need for the best Static-HV SMG loadout in MW3 and Warzone is recoil management and mobility. In the recoil control department, we’d have the two new attachments up for the task: the Paracord Grip underbarrel and the Quartermaster Suppressor muzzle.
These two attachments are unlocked from daily challenges, and you must activate them through the armory. The level of accuracy that these two bring forth is simply better than any attachment in the game other than the Bruen Heavy underbarrel.
With the accuracy set, we need a barrel for higher damage since there are no HG Rounds to choose from in the ammunition section. The Garrote-8 Long Barrel makes the best for this Static-HV SMG loadout in MW3 and Warzone, and you can add the Warcat 90 Grip rear grip for mobility.
It’s recommended not to use the stock attachments for more mobility here as it’ll kick the accuracy out of the window. One last attachment: Pick an optic. The JAK Glassless is one of the best options for adding some firing stability stats.
Static-HV Nerd Review: Fresh!
The Static-HV is the king of SMGs right now in MW3 and Warzone Season 5. The weapon is top-tier, sitting a notch higher than Superi-46, Striker, and HRM-9. The damage is solid, the fire rate is high, as expected, and the range on this thing is just perfect for an SMG. The only downside, however, is that the tactical sprint with Static-HV feels like you’re driving a truck.
