In-game events are the perfect time to snag freebies and other fun rewards. In the Ghoul and Glory event, Sea of Thieves players have the opportunity to earn double gold, Allegiance, and more. It’s the perfect opportunity to stockpile your income or quickly grow your reputation. There’s nothing different you need to do either. But you don’t have much time, so take advantage of the event’s advantages and goodies while you still can.

Ghoul and Glory lasts from October 27th to November 1st. The event is merely a Halloween tradition. So, there’s nothing you really have to do but log in and play the game normally. The rewards consist of earning double the amount of the following:

  • Allegiance
  • Gold
  • Renown
  • Reputation

There’s also a Pirate Emporium sale going on alongside the event. If you want to buy Halloween-themed items for less, like the Jack O’ Looter costume, now’s the time to check out the shop.

Best Gold Methods

Gold is always important to gain, and now’s a great time to do it. If you want to take advantage of the double gold opportunity before the Sea of Thieves event concludes, it’s time to start farming.

Although there are numerous ways to earn gold, we want to stick with the ones that will get you a lot in a short amount of time. This way, you can better utilize the opportunity. One good feature to use is the Emissary Flag. These flags already increase your earnings, and with the double gold during the Sea of Thieves Ghoul and Glory event, you can see it perhaps tripled.

Another solid approach is to go at it solo with the Sea Forts. They’re not tough either, so you can manage several before the end of the event. Working with the right Trading Company also helps farm gold, as they’ll send you on worthwhile voyages to return with large amounts of treasure.

Are you looking to complete the Damned Set? Thanks to the Ghoul and Glory event, you can earn the Rapier of the Damned and round out the haunting Sea of Thieves cosmetic set.

Similar to earning double gold, Allegiance, etc., you don’t have to do anything unique to earn the cutlass. It’s considered a freebie. All that’s needed is for you to log in during the time period we mentioned earlier. Logging in will automatically reward you with the Rapier of the Damned and a Legendary Search to find the Skull of Destiny Voyage.
