Shania Twain is living up to her smash hit “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” The country music singer is feeling more vibrant and healthy after enduring a 20-year battle with Lyme disease. Her newfound energy hasn’t gone unnoticed by others, including her husband Frederic Thiebaud, who’s struggling to keep up with his vigorous wife.
Twain has been very open about her battle with Lyme disease, which she was diagnosed with in 2003. The disease was so severe that it damaged her vocal cords and she thought she’d never sing again. However, the country star wasn’t going to give up, and with perseverance is now on a career comeback.
“She has regained her voice and her health and feels like she has a new lease on life,” a source tells Life & Style.
Throughout Shania’s battle, she had the support of her husband. Now that she’s healthy again, the spark has been reignited in their marriage.
