The actress says she needs to do things before her time comes. Shannen Doherty doesn’t want to make her fans feel bad, but she also knows how important it is to face the facts. Page Six reports that Shannen is preparing to let go.

The one thing she wants to make sure she does is leave things in order to make an easier transition for her mom, Rosa.
Shannen Doherty spoke about her current health status and what she needs to prioritize now.
“My priority at the moment is my mom,” stated Shannen. “I know it’s going to be hard on her If I pass away before her,” she said during her “Let’s Be Clear” podcast.
Shannen Puts Her Mom First
The TV star claims that she knows how her death is going to affect her mom. So, she needs to make it as easy as possible. That is what she will do. Shannen Doherty claims it would just be too painful for her mom to have to sort through her things while she is grieving.
Shannen Doherty adds that she has had plenty of time to accept her fate. However, even so, it doesn’t make dealing with her situation any easier. She admits she still has her moments.
“It was really hard and emotional because, to a certain extent.”
She says she knows it is the right thing to do. Doherty has come to the understanding that checking off her before-death to-do list will give her peace. The former Charmed actress explains that letting go of the property and other possessions helps “leave behind a cleaner, easier transition” for her family.
Her 9-year battle with cancer has also taught her the only thing that is important now is spending what time she has left with those she loves. Shannen has also planned her funeral and the service and made a list of people she wants there and those she doesn’t. She says she plans to continue fighting but wants to get things done “just in case.”
