Slime Rancher 2: Where to Find Fruit and Veggies
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

As you can guess from the title, in Slime Rancher 2, your job is to wrangle some Slimes. You need to take care of a variety of Slimes and feed them properly in order to harvest some Plorts that you can sell for some Newbucks and craft important, new Slime Science gadgets. This guide will help you point out the places where you can find some Fruit and Veggies for your Slime Rancher 2 ranch.

Fruit and Veggies Locations in Slime Rancher 2

Slime Rancher 2: Where to Find Fruit and Veggies

Most Fruit and Veggies are readily available around The Conservatory area; go east from there, and you should quickly locate typical Food like Carrots, Pogofruits, and Cuberries. Although Water Lettuce seems to be a rarer spawn there, but it also spawns around the northeast of the Mobile Refinery and near the Cotton Gordo Slime. Meanwhile, for Pomegranate, you would want to go to Ember Valley, somewhere along the northern mountainous area and the central caverns where you can spot lots of Batty Slimes. If you need help reaching the place, check out our How to Unlock Ember Valley guide. Pomegranate can also be found in the Starlight Strand region.

Veggies

In Slime Rancher 2, Veggies can be found growing in soil. Here’s the list of all available Veggies in the game:

  • Carrot
  • Heart Beet
  • Odd Onion
  • Water Lettuce (Cotton Slime’s favorite)

Fruit

Meanwhile, you can find Fruits hanging on trees. There are four types of Fruits you can acquire and farm in Slime Rancher 2:

  • Pogofruit
  • Cuberry (Phosphor Slime‘s favorite)
  • Mint Mango (Honey Slime’s favorite)
  • Pomegranate (Batty Slime‘s favorite)

Fruit and Veggies will rot if they are left on the floor or come into touch with the Tarr. Rotten Food will vanish on its own after some time, but you can also clean them up using the Vac stream. Aside from Fruits and Veggies, Meat from several Chickens is also considered Food, but not all Slimes eat them.
