Hi-Rez Studios has announced that Smite will be making its way to the Playstation 4.

A closed alpha for the game is scheduled to begin today and a closed beta is being planned to begin in March. Those interested in participating in the closed beta can sign up here for a chance to receive a code in the near future. Once the beta launches, players will be given access to all of Smite’s game modes and its five free gods (Ymir, Thor, Neith, Guan Yu, and Ra) in addition to the free gods that are in the free rotation.

PS4 owners finally get the chance to join in the Battleground of the Gods.

The PS4 version of Smite will also feature platform exclusive skins. Odin’s “World’s Collide” skin will be given away for free to players who link their PS4 accounts to their Hi-Rez account. Kulkulkan’s “KuKu4” skin will be given to PlayStation Plus members and Ymir’s “C4codemon” skin will be available in the Founder’s Pack.

The Founder’s Pack will be available for the beta on the Playstation Store for $29.99. Included in the pack will be Ymir’s “C4codemon” skin, an Ares “Soldier of Fortune” skin, and the unlocks of all present and future gods.
