Snowbreak Containment Zone: Characters Tier List for 2023
First of all, our Snowbreak Containment Zone tier list includes 21 characters divided into 5 tiers:
- S+ tier characters have unconditional priority. The abilities of these characters allow them to show excellent results in PVE and PVP modes. They can easily synergize with other characters or drop into fights alone.
- S-tier characters are extremely strong. Although they do have one or two shortcomings that make them barely able to compete with the S+ category.
- A-tier units are quite decent, but they are simply outclassed by better characters. Their uses are mostly niche and excel in specific conditions only.
- B-tier units can still be viable in battles. But you might struggle or need very specific teams and conditions when utilizing them.
- C-tier characters are relatively weak, and you should only use them when necessary. In addition, if you obtained her at the beginning, you should think about rerolling.

The Best Characters in Snowbreak Containment Zone According to The Tier List
It is worth noting that you should not take our tier list as an unconditional truth. Because, depending on your preferred playstyle and skills, most characters can sparkle. They are all viable for clearing the main missions as well. But despite this, the abilities of S+ and S-rank tier characters deservedly make them the best in the Snowbreak Containment Zone. Below are the short explanations for why we put each unit into different categories.
S+ Tier Characters
- Yao (Winter Solstice): Yao Winter Solstice instantly jumps to the S+ tier if you’re playing on PC or an expert at mobile FPS. Her Searing Resurrection Ultimate is pretty OP. New – Solar Storm deals tons of damage with Thermal weapons and gains +20% All Resistance. She pairs great with Space Cowboy.
- Chenxing (Ethereal Cloud): Pretty much considered to be the highest Electrical DPS in the game. Her basic Silk Spiritual Slip skill is extremely potent for dealing with mobs, especially with Anti-Evil Ward.
- Fenny (Coronet): If you want to go up close and personal, then Coronet is your gal. Use Optimal Condition to buff up her speed and Electrical damage. When going in too far and surrounded, clear the mobs and bosses in the area with her Center Stage Ultimate. With this kit, she doesn’t need to be jealous of Lyfe anymore, at least for now.
- Acacia (Kaguya): One of the best supports in Snowbreak Containment Zone. All of her skills throw Frost-dealing damage that can cripple enemies’ movements and their Resistance. Prioritize on Neurotics that pull targets to maximize her Lunar Eclipse Ultimate.
- Haru (Absconditus): Aside from Coronet, Absconditus also lets you deal with enemies in close-quarters combat. Use her Compensatory Justice and Swift Execution skills often to quickly clear out mobs.
S-tier Characters
- Marian (Swift): Swift is just a very comfy sniper character, thanks to her Cloud Shot that locks her drone and herself onto a target. Still, manually shooting at a marked enemy will give you +20% bonus damage so do that when dealing with bosses. This skill makes her an excellent choice for both beginners who do not want to aim and pros who can deal extra damage.
- Lyfe (Wild Hunt): Although still outclassed by S+ crowd controllers, she still has great kits that make her stand out. Frost Wolves can easily freeze and stop opponents in their tracks, turning them into easy pickings. Her biggest weakness is that SMG is somewhat mediocre at the moment. Otherwise, she’s actually pretty strong and fun to use.
- Chenxing (Observer): One of the better supports in Snowbreak Containment Zone. Heavenly Law turrets can draw aggro, while Psychic dish out healing and damage buff to your fire team.
- Yao (Quiet Quitter): Has the potential to be the best healer in Snowbreak Containment Zone when you get her Manifestations. Five Minute Break easily increases her DPS too. The only thing that sets her back is her slow drones and the Work to Rule Ultimate that leaves her unplayable for 10 seconds. She heals more than Observer but has a lower range and cannot give bonus damage. If you need a proper healer, pick one of them depending on your playstyle.
- Siris (The Goldfish): A great support that can give a huge amount of survivability to her fire team. Her shield can soak up tons of damage, not to mention that attacking through it adds bonus damage. The Night of Revival Ultimate also heals HP equal to 20% of the remaining shield.
A-tier Characters
- Acacia (Redacted): The all-rounder that you start off with in Snowbreak Containment Zone. Her kit is nothing special, except the Out of the Flow that can slow down enemies including bosses.
- Lyfe (Wednesday): Good enough unit, but her kits feel pretty redundant if you own the Wild Hunt variant already.
- Fenny (Lionheart): She doesn’t have a lot of tricks in her book. Heck, just two, actually. One is blasting off enemies’ faces with a Shotgun. And the second one is spending 1 ammo to dash forward. Sounds simple enough but it pairs great with the Coronet version just like Fritia. Use Lionheart’s Queen Bee to close any gap and rotate to Coronet to clean the house.
- Fritia (Hush): Her Ultimate, Until Pain’s End, is pretty much her best asset. However, you’ll need to reach Manifest 4 to unlock her full potential. Interestingly, both Fritias synergize extremely well together, particularly if you need to dish out Thermal damage fast. First, use Hush’s Strongest Chain to pull targets into one spot. Then mix it up with Little Sunshine’s In a Stalk of Fennel to blast enemies to the sky. Lastly, rotate and finish it up with Hush’s Ultimate.
- Fritia (Little Sunshine): Okayish skill and damage. She works much better as a support since her Pyrphoros skill gives the active operative bonus Thermal damage on each shot for 10 seconds.
- Marian (Queen of Pain): The basic sniper character. Versatile and simple enough, works out of the box. Use Gae Bulg for damage-dealing and Smokescreen as a last resort escape option against bosses. Don’t forget that you need to hold down the sprint button for it to work!
B-tier Characters
- Mauxir (Meow): Has unique kits, but its usage is very situational and a bit hard to pull off. Synergize well with Ethereal Cloud, Kaguya, and Absconditus with proper Neurotics.
- Enya (Big Sis): As they say, jack-of-all-trades and a master of none. Lots of damage potential but hindered by disappointing range and usefulness.
- Cherno (Those Two): Her kit is interesting and pretty fun if a bit lacking. But she is heavily dependent on proper teammates. Considering we cannot directly control Beloberg when using Clear, Empty Skies Ultimate. Then, despite its huge damage, it eats her HP often so you’ll need constant healing and support.
C-tier Characters
- Haru (The Ace): Her kit is just too clunky and kind of time-wasting. Triple Tap DPS is just too low since it needs to be charged for a long time to deal okay damage. The Beyond Here Lies Nothing Ultimate is also quite disappointing. The zone is too small, the knock-up doesn’t deal damage, and the Sword of Oaths’s cooldown is too long.
- Nita (Hands): She’s pretty much considered to be the worst character by the community. Mostly because a main tank isn’t needed in the current state of Snowbreak Containment Zone.
Snowbreak Containment Zone is available on iOS, Android, and PC.
