This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Most gacha games are chaotic with their wishing or pulling system and winning anything specific is usually up to luck. Solo Leveling: ARISE, however, gives you the option for certainty or at least some semblance of sureness when it comes to gacha pulls. This comes in the form of the Special Summons mechanic, which you can access as soon as you finish the tutorial. It’s not exactly free, but you might still want to consider it after my Special Summons guide and explanation for Solo Leveling: ARISE.

What is Special Summons in Solo Leveling: Arise

It’s accessible from the starting lobby (top-left) as soon as you log in. Click on it or tap it and you’ll be presented with some kind of a separate hypothetical draw or wish session.

In a nutshell, Special Summons in Solo Leveling: Arise lets you make 10 draws or pulls 15 times to see how lucky you can get. You don’t exactly win the results of these Special Summons, but you can pick one of your 10 pulls or draws to convert into the real thing.

That means you can specifically choose the luckiest 10 pull you managed to make in Special Summons and actually win the results of that pull or draw. Keep in mind that you only get 15 tries here, and you can still get unlucky and have nothing but SR characters or items even after 150 pulls.

Trying out the 15×10 draws you have in Special Summons is free. Extracting the luckiest or preferred 10-draw you want that Special Summons results is going to cost you.

You’ll need a Special Summons Ticket to extract a 10-draw in Special Summons. So if you’re strict with your free-to-play route, you might as well ignore Special Summons.

How Much Do Special Summon Tickets Cost

There are a couple of ways to purchase Special Summons Tickets, each with different pricing:

  • Approximately $32 per ticket from the Shop, available once per month apparently.
  • Or 1 Special Summon Ticket per month through the Hunters Association Premium Subscription (approximately $10).

If you want Special Summon Tickets on demand, you’re going to have to purchase them individually. Each one costs an estimated $32 though the conversion might be cheaper depending on your region.

However, there’s a cheaper alternative which I mentioned above and that would be the Hunters Association Premium Subscription. The subscription includes one Special Summon Ticket per month.

Ultimately, whether they’re worth it or not depends on how lucky you get with those 10 draws. Remember that you can only extract one 10-draw at a time with a Special Summon Ticket. Even then, there are free alternatives for fresh accounts such as rerolling for which we also have a guide.

Solo Leveling: Arise is out now and available on PC and mobile platforms.
