After visiting STC Malachite and speaking with Prof. Ozersky, he will tell you to go to Mirror VPC. Your goal is to activate the device so the professor can gain access to the information in the X-Network. You must face numerous zombies and other mutants in this building. The structure is also rather complex due to the numerous rooms and floors you must navigate. Not only that, but you also need to gather some documents during the A Minor Incident quest in Stalker 2.
How To Complete A Minor Incident Quest in Stalker 2
To find the entrance to Mirror VPC in the A Minor Incident quest in Stalker 2, you just need to follow the objective mark. You can find an abandoned truck near the entrance, but the door will be unlocked. Once inside, you must follow the passage and climb the stairs. Be careful when entering the room since a group of mutant rats will attack you.
Just keep following the passage while passing through rooms filled with corpses. In the last room, you will find another group of mutant rats that you must kill. On the table, you can find the Mirror Activation Memo. You now need to install the fuse to the switchboard. Go back to the large room with numerous bodies to find Sgt. Nikitin’s corpse, who holds the fuse.
After you obtain the item, you can return to the Mirror Switchboard Room and install the fuse on the middle switchboard. Once you flip the switch, the corpses will wake up as zombies, so you need to kill them with a headshot.
How To Activate Mirror Facility
Things get a bit more complicated after this since you have several objectives during the A Minor Incident quest. Here’s what you need to do to complete them all:
- Return to the large room and kill all zombies.
- Pass through the southwest entrance to find an open bulkhead door.
- Climb up the stairs and follow the passage.
- You can find the Connection Instructions paper on the table.
- Open the door to your right and follow the passage.
- Climb up another flight of stairs and follow the passage.
- Kill the controller in the control room.
When you press the red button, the Mirror Facility will refuse to turn on due to an obstruction. You need to head outside and face the Chimera outside. This is a dangerous mutant since it can easily kill you with several hits. Once the monster is dead, push the red button again to complete your objective.
That’s not the end of the A Minor Incident quest. You must travel to Rostok to meet with Richter at an underground bar. The man will give you some information, and you can go to the Roofed Warehouse to meet with Dvupalov. This will start the In Search of Past Glory mission.
