The details of the Star Wars Celebration Chicago have been released! Taking place on the Celebration, Galaxy, and Twin Sun stages, event full feature panels, discussions, and activities for fans.

Friday, April 12th the Celebration stage will have a panel regarding Episode IX. It will feature Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and director J.J. Abrams. This panel lasts from 11 AM-12 PM. Following from 1:30 PM-2:30 PM will be Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series. It features a sneak peek at the virtual reality story series from ILMxLAB and Oculus. Then from 4:00 PM-5: 00 PM Creative Supervisor Neal Scanlan and the team will go over their process for designing and building creatures during The Creatures, Droids, and Aliens of Star Wars.

Among other noteworthy events on the Celebration Stage are The Galaxy-Wide Premier of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order with a discussion including the video game creators, A Celebration of Women and Star Wars featuring Ashley Eckstein, The Clone Wars sneak peek featuring Dave Filoni and the 20th anniversary celebration for the Phantom Menace with host Warwick Davis.

Celebration

Numerous events will come to the Galaxy Stage. There is a retrospective and forward look on LEGO Star Wars games. ILM Presents: Making Solo will feature Rob Bredow the VFS Supervisor for the movie. Dave Filoni and other guests will discuss the impact of Star Wars Rebels. And there will also be a Star Wars Cosplay Competition.

Finally, on the Twin Suns Stage fans can look forward to a discussion of the future of Hasbro products and previews of ones to come. The Lucasfilm Publishing Panel will talk about upcoming Star Wars novels and will feature the authors. And there will be An Intergalactic Game Show for fans to compete to test their trivia with prizes awarded.

Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019 lasts from Friday, April 12th – Monday, April 15th that takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. The five-day passes are currently sold out but tickets per day are still available via their website.
