The excellent Star Wars Jedi: Survivor might be making its way to EA Play sometime soon. Multiple regions on the PlayStation 5 Store show the game as also being included with EA Play, with no official announcement of the sort being made.
This only showed up on Sony’s store and hasn’t been found anywhere on the Xbox or PC stores. Since it was seen on the PlayStation Store, it is likely not an error, and we should be seeing it making its way to EA Play shortly.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor Might Be Coming To EA Play
EA Play, like Xbox Game Pass or the PlayStation Plus Catalog, gives its subscribers access to an extensive library of EA games for a monthly fee which also happens to include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. EA titles make their way to EA Play a year or so after their initial release and since Star Wars Jedi: Survivor came out in April 2023, it is the ideal time frame to put it on the subscription service.
But if you aren’t subscribed to EA Play already, you should know that EA raised the prices for the service starting May 2024. The standard tier will go from $4.99 a month to $5.99 a month, and the yearly fee will go from $29.99 to $39.99. The Pro tier will remain unchanged.
If you are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, then you will automatically gain access to the EA Play titles as well. So you won’t have to do anything when Star Wars Jedi Survivor comes to EA Play. But until an official announcement, we recommend you keep your hopes in check.
In other news, EA Motive was initially interested in making another Dead Space game, not a Dead Space 2 Remake as was initially the expectation. But since the first remake didn’t do so well commercially, EA shot down those propositions internally and instead shifted the focus to assisting with the upcoming Battlefield game.
