Stardew Valley — Marnie Gift Guide

There are some really helpful people living in Stardew Valley, and the local rancher, Marnie, is one of them. This lovely lady is happy to help you with livestock, a pet, supplies, and much more. If you’re looking to repay the favor to this nice woman, here’s what you need to know about her favorite gifts.

Loved Gifts

There are four gifts that Marnie loves that aren’t universally-loved. If you give her a loved gift, she’ll respond with “This is an incredible gift! Thanks!!” You’ll receive 80 friendship points with her.

The first gift that you’ll find Marnie really loves is the Farmer’s Lunch. You can make this cooked dish from an Omelet and a parsnip. Next, you can make her a Pink Cake from melon, wheat flour, sugar, and an egg. She also loves Pumpkin Pie, made from a pumpkin, some wheat flour, some milk, and a bit of sugar. The final loved gift you can give Marnie is a diamond. Luckily, Stardew Valley makes it much easier to find diamonds than in real life, and you can use them to level up friendships with many people.

Liked Gifts

There is only a handful of things that Marnie likes that aren’t in the “universal likes” category. First, she likes Quartz, which can be foraged in the mines. She also likes all eggs (except the Void Eggs) and all types of milk.

Universal Gifts in Stardew Valley

In Stardew Valley, there is a whole list of items that are universally-appreciated by almost every character that you can give gifts to.

It’s hard to come by many of the universal loves, but they are loved by almost everyone, including Marnie. These are the Golden Pumpkin, Prismatic Shards, rabbit’s feet, Magic Rock Candy, and pearls. If you’re looking for something a bit easier to obtain to give to Marnie, consider some of the universal likes. These include most artisan goods (excluding oil and Void Mayo), most cooked dishes, most flowers, most foraged minerals, almost all of the fruits from fruit trees, most veggies, life elixir, maple syrup, and most gems.
