A common theme in Bethesda titles is the looming presence of powerful factions. In that aspect, Starfield is no exception. The Freestar Collective, Ryujin Industries, and the Crimson Fleet are just a few of the many factions that players can interact with in Starfield. However, the largest of them all is the United Colonies Vanguard. If you want to have a notable presence amongst the faction, you will need to visit its capital ship. Read ahead to learn the location of the UC Vigilance, and how you can find it for yourself.
The location of the UC Vigilance is unique in that it will change based off of your actions. At the start of the game, the capital ship is orbiting the moon of Phobos in the Sol System. It will stay here for the foreseeable future, that is unless you begin the Crimson Fleet questline.
At seemingly random points throughout the Crimson Fleet questline, the location of the UC Vigilance will swap over to Aranae II in the Aranae system. If you’re struggling to locate the Arnae system, keep in mind that it is just above and to the right of the Alpha Centauri system.
We have also heard reports of the ship making its way over to the planet Suvorov in the Kryx system. We were unable to confirm this for ourselves, but it may be a good idea to put that info in your back pocket, just in case.
If you want to easily locate the UC Vigilance, just commit a small crime within UC territory! This will place you under arrest and have you taken to the capital ship. Here you can begin the United Colony’s faction quest and, in turn, begin the Crimson Fleet questline as well.
