Your sentence begins

Green Hell studio, Creepy Jar, has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming StarRupture. Previously, we got a quick glimpse at some of the game’s mechanics, including hordes of invading bugs, first-person shooting, and world-ending threats. However, this new footage showcases some of the automated factory gameplay, exploration, combat, and other hazards that will make StarRupture quite the unique experience. Furthermore, there’s now a release window for it, so you can start gathering your crew before your sentence begins.

StarRupture gives us a better glimpse at the game’s system in its latest gameplay trailer. For starters, we can observe the base-building mechanics better, which seem quite smooth. Automation will play a vital role while surviving on this planet, and you can see all manner of machines transporting materials back to a player’s base. Furthermore, the UI to build the game looks pretty smooth, which is already a huge win for a game focusing on this feature.

Beyond that, the footage also shows new enemies and some of the game’s life-and-death cycle mechanics that will change a player’s playthrough drastically.

Each cycle allows the player to explore new secrets or gather rare resources.

Creepy Jar.

The mechanic of having new things in each cycle or opening the opportunity to find new secrets sounds interesting. Usually, other survival games limit themselves to biomes that never change. Here, however, it seems that surviving a world-ending threat will be rewarding as new things will appear for players to find.

So, if you want to try these features and more, StarRupture is coming to early access in the Autumn of this year. The exact release is still uncertain, but having a release window is always great. Also, remember that other players can join you in this venture. Up to four players can band together to try to gather resources as a group of galactic criminals sentenced to this perilous planet.
