Netflix announced there will be a season 2 of the new popular show, Stranger Things. This comes off the heels of speculation about possible time jumps, prequel, or new characters altogether. The season 2 announcement comes in the form of a teaser trailer. The trailer itself gives the titles for the next nine (yes nine) episodes:

Expect a lot of guessing and theories as to what each title means. Some of them are titles of 80s pop-culture references such as “Mad Max” and “In the Fall of 1984…”. The first season of Stranger Things was riddled with references of 80s pop-culture so it comes to no surprise that the trend continues.
If you have yet to watch the first season of Stranger Things, check out my review and watch it. I thought it was one of the best new shows in years on Netflix and possibly one of the best new shows of 2016, period. Personally, while it does end on a cliffhanger, I believe a second season could be a risk. What made the show so great in the first season might not work in the second. Let’s just hope the Duffer Brothers can continue the trend.
Meanwhile, I think I am going to rewatch Stranger Things first season to prepare.
