Taylor Swift may be happily dating football star Travis Kelce. However, her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, isn’t doing so bad either. The actor recently made his first-ever American late-night TV appearance. Alwyn sat down for an interview with Seth Meyers, and many fans were pleasantly surprised by his wit and charm. Joe and Taylor were together for more than six years before calling it quits in 2023. However, they kept their relationship very private. This left fans divided about the British movie star. However, he now appears to be finding his identity without the singer’s help.
According to The Daily Mail, Joe Alwyn surprised audiences with his latest TV appearance on Tuesday night. As he promoted his new film, The Brutalist, he appeared to really win over fans, some of whom had some negative thoughts about him following his breakup with Taylor Swift.
“Travis Kelce is tacky in comparison. However, he seems to love Taylor for who she is. No hiding like Joe made her do,” one person commented on the outlet’s post.
“Joe is stunning. Handsome and presents himself in a charming classy manner. Taylor’s loss,” another wrote.

During his interview with Seth Meyers, Alwyn spoke out about his love for movies and his desire to go to the theater in the United States rather than the UK. However, he stayed quiet about his former relationship with Swift.
However, that hasn’t always been the case. Just two weeks before, Joe spoke out about life following his split with Taylor. The actor revealed that despite the media firestorm surrounding his relationship with the singer, he was focused on his loved ones and career.
“Right from the beginning, tried to focus on the things that are meaningful for me: friends, family, work, of course,” he told the Guardian. “So noise outside of that, I think I’ve done what lots of people who find themselves in the public eye do, which is just try and ignore it. If you don’t, and if you let all of that other stuff in, and if it starts to affect you and your behavior, you’re living from the outside in.”
